We have arrived at Mimi's Camp Ogichi Daa Kwe in International Falls, MN!
Got my snacks and water. Ready to go.
Prepared for wet and mud
Happy to have lunch after a busy morning
Camp and peanut butter = happy
Venturing into the lake
Brrrr, its cold!
The sand can keep us busy for hours.
Lunch! One of our favorite things about camp is eating with all the girls
and passing and choosing the great food Erica and Peg make.
Laughing so hard we had to be taken away on a stretcher.
I was a very good victim.
Dr. Kate healed me right away.
Ringing the lunch bell with Aunt Lib
Oh they never should have let me see the Gator. All I wanted to do was drive.
Sparklers with Mimi!
Zonked.
A little quiet time.
Luckily Libby gets my driving obsession.
She started the Gator for me and it was so exciting.
Off we go!
Checking out the morning
A little yoga in the activities center.
Beautiful Rainy Lake
Kate made lots of friends. Spangler made Kate feel quite special with french braids and nice long chats on the beach.
Ringing the bell with Beach Cousin Katie!
So glad we got to spend time with her at camp.
Crawling under all the tables was so fun.
The campers are arriving!
Driving a boat might be even better than the Gator!
We went over to the boys camp for a morning and played with the other staff kids in their playhouse.
Chef Erica and I became quite good friends.
We found a huge turtle!
And helped him find his way back to the water.
Swinging in the bird cage at Thunderbird Lodge
More delicious meals
Working on a little composition
Our very favorite thing at camp might have been the ice machine.
With our best friends in the kitchen - Peg, Erica, Mimi and Kara.
A little ice cream on the dock. We love camp Mimi! Can't wait for next year.
